Nick Trosper and Jason Welker have been lifelong friends, both always fascinated with the paranormal, despite being brought up differently.  After years of going to supposed "haunted" locations, in 2008, they teamed up with a local paranormal team named People Chasing Ghosts (PCG), in the hopes of using sophisticated equipment to find hard evidence of the afterlife.

Unfortunately, PCG didn't work out for a number of reasons, but as fate would have it, Nick and Jason decided to form their own team, naming it Regional Investigators of the Paranormal, or RIP for short.  RIP was officially founded in March 2009, and have been hitting it hard ever since. 

While its true, some members have come and gone, RIP now has a solid team of seasoned investigators working for them, and will continue to do their best to find the truth. 

The basic goal of RIP is simple.  To help.  Yes, of course, the thrill of going to some notoriously "haunted" locations is a perk of the job, but the main reason for doing this is to help others feel safe when they have nobody else to turn to. 

Jason Welker has since left the team, but remains in spirit.  With Nick Trosper and his lead investigators Misty Adkins and Will Cronk leading RIP into the future, the future looks as bright as ever before.

We are Regional Investigators of the Paranormal....and we will continue to be there, day or night, when called upon for help to find the truth and help others to get their rest in peace.
